Creepy Baby Barn Owls

Baby barn owls. I found them in an old pump shed that was supposed to be disconnected so the hissing sound coming from there was really weird. It would go on and off at night and sounded like water moving through the pipes. During the day, everything looked shut off and there were no noises. The next night I figured out what was making the noise. (From Flickr)

I have a friend who has a bird phobia. This would FREAK her out so badly I think she would kill me for showing it to her before dying of a heart attack of her own. Just thought I'd tell you all that, as clearly I will never show it to her for the aforementioned possibility of death.
