that being said, i believe that police officers should be held to a higher standard than civilians, and since he already lost his job, part of that is already been taken care of. perhaps a fine for theft of evidence (or failing to submit evidence). anything more than that would be executing opinion rather than justice.
My repsonse: "Well, sir, that is only possible if you were watching Fantasia simultaneously."
" . . . I think we're dead . . ." LOL!!

Eating brownies is a bad strategy for first timers. Estimating the dose is really hard. It takes quite a while for the effects to come up, so many people get the "I don't feel it, so I'll take more" effect. It keeps building, you'll be feeling nicely stoned but then it still gets stronger and stronger. Lastly and maybe most importantly it lasts for a long time. If I eat a good amount of brownies in the afternoon I'll steel be feeling it the next morning.
Farhad, do you have a link to the full audio recording?

in my experience, however, you'd have to eat so much marijuana to overdose on it that you'd vomit it back up. i agree with cybrbeast in this respect, "It might be possible but you'd probably have to IV massive quantities of pure THC." true dat. true dat.
thinking back to my misspent youth, if that guy is able to make a phone call and follow a conversation he's not nearly approaching stoned enough. when someone got really stoned we'd call it the 'greenies'. they'd usually go a bit green in their face, feel disorientated and maybe dry retch for a bit. the solution was always to give them loads of water and vitamin C and also talk them down from it. most of the time people went green when we took 'coffee shots' which were cups of very strong coffee & sugar mixed with huge amounts of cannabis resin and knocked back in one go. at the time we had some pseudo-scientific explanation for it regarding increased blood absorption or something. but that stuff used to really knock you out. you'd be tripping harder than on magic mushrooms (which we were kind of into at the time). i saw guys freak out cuz they thought their face was falling off. and one time a girl i knew just lay in the middle of the room in a foetal position for the whole day just sucking her thumb and making baby noises..
Here is some info on the toxicity of THC:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahydrocannabinol#Toxicity
According to the Merck Index, 12th edition, THC has a LD50 value of 1270 mg/kg (male rats) and 730 mg/kg (female rats) administered orally dissolved in sesame oil.[2]
If this were scaled up to an adult human, the LD50 would be between approximately 50 and 86 g for a 68 kg (150 lb) female or male person respectively. This would be equivalent to 1-1.8 kg of cannabis with a 5% THC content (roughly average) taken orally.
http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/library/mj_overdose.htm
In summary, enormous doses of Delta 9 THC, All THC and concentrated marihuana extract ingested by mouth were unable to produce death or organ pathology in large mammals but did produce fatalities in smaller rodents due to profound central nervous system depression.
The non-fatal consumption of 3000 mg/kg A THC by the dog and monkey would be comparable to a 154-pound human eating approximately 46 pounds (21 kilograms) of 1%-marihuana or 10 pounds of 5% hashish at one time. In addition, 92 mg/kg THC intravenously produced no fatalities in monkeys. These doses would be comparable to a 154-pound human smoking at one time almost three pounds (1.28 kg) of 1%-marihuana or 250,000 times the usual smoked dose and over a million times the minimal effective dose assuming 50% destruction of the THC by smoking.
Thus, evidence from animal studies and human case reports appears to indicate that the ratio of lethal dose to effective dose is quite large. This ratio is much more favorable than that of many other common psychoactive agents including alcohol and barbiturates (Phillips et al. 1971, Brill et al. 1970).
