A 25 second version where he picks it out of the tub = upvote
This 1:37 version evokes similar feeling to seeing the following:
A video of a kitten (awww) where someone grabs it after 10 seconds, skins it alive, and then follows this up with another 30 seconds of footage of the dead kitten. (hyperbole) bleeurgh.
To answer your questions(s):
1) Inbreeding over countless generations tends to cause deformity. Humans breed certain types of dog because we want them to perform a certain function/ we like the way they look... let's not pretend that the results are 100% healthy animals.
2) I did not 'exactly' equate this video to the 'kitten skinning', that is why I suggested it was hyperbole.. (deliberate exaggeration for effect)
I was suggesting that the way I feel when I see this long version of this video might be similar to the way YOU would feel if you were to watch the 'kitten skinning' video. I'm afraid I had to guess at what would actually make people see past their "aww, isn't it cute?" response and look at the reality displayed by the video. (man with camera is 'cruel' to dog - not such a catchy title)
This is just my opinion. I am sorry if it offends everyone, but I don't apologise for making the point.
Everyone has the right to disagree, of course.
(PS, I fed the mouse some cheese, and set it free in the woods a short distance away)
(PPS, I don't think I would feed this dog before setting it in the woods. Stupid dog)
