I really think 'conservative' is more of a buzz-word than anything anymore... much like 'liberal'... it's neither accurate or appropriate to most of the people who apply it to themselves and others...
I would say most of these particular talking heads are republican backers... who would like to wear the conservative hat... but not all... less... 2 maybe 3 in my opinion...
I'm sure the same tactics were used when Bush's popularity started going down. In the end, politicians do what's best for the party, and with McCain's dropping popularity and fall from decency it's natural to see this kind of distancing between them and Bush. I mean, McCain.
Yes, these are all conservatives ... for instance Ed Rollins is an old Republican campaign honcho; he was a big Palin fan for a while, rating her performance as hugely better than Joe Biden's in their debate (he was the only one who did, that's why I remember).
The only one of the lot that I care to hear from is George Will (@ 1:34)... he's a smart, yet sometimes strange man.
>> ^dag: I'm worried about anyone calling "Landslide" based on polls. This might deter voters who think this is in the bag. The Bradley effect is real.
... McPalin gets in the White House; party deserters are publicly flogged in the rose garden.

As I've misquoted Churchill before to you Mink - Democracy is the worst system of government ever created. Except for every other system that's ever been tried.
Bullshit, Obama did not tie McCain to Bush, McCain tied himself to Bush, like some kind of creepy septuagenarian bondage snuff flick. Damn, I don't often get to type that phrase.

It's not Obama's fault McCain ran such a crappy campaign.
I guess Obama supporters can stay home and enjoy the landslide anyway...
