Conan and Jim Carrey Talk Quantum Physics

"Actually, what they were saying is pretty accurate. They're basically discussing a trapped electron and the discrete energy levels it can occupy. Omega is the frequency of oscillation, either referring to the force driving the oscillation, or the actual resonance frequency of the electron. It was obvious they were intentionally choosing the most "scientific" sounding words they could to explain it to make the routine more over the top. What they said was correct, it's just that we usually can explain it with simpler sounding arguments."

Yeah it's like watching CSPAN... except I'm not falling asleep, or bored to tears, or having suisidal thoughts. But I am lost as to what the heck they are talking about, so that's at least one similarity.
(omega frequency my ass)

Talking about errors about errors.

Though really I expect then to reach some limit once line of comment is greater than a given value of N.

Given n tends to infinity that is.

I'm not sure how it ended up in the top 15. This was dead and discarded, with the new hosts added with version 2.5 I asked Lucky to help bring it back as it was available on DailyMotion...

Great clip! The comic quantum-probability waves generated from this endlessly creative clip (process) has caused states of laughability well beyond the perplexities of "Schrodinger's Cat" uncovering the eternally amusing ambiguities of the "Vedantic Net" of the Unitary Quantum Sea we swim in as the non-local beautiful wave-functions collapse into local high-resolution Actuality due to "Mind's Eye" "observation" generated in ripples from the Universal Vacuum State (fluxuations) or the Super-Implicate Order (not chaos) Ground Of Being of the Majesty/Mystery of GOD.

A great example of why I think Carrey is one of the most overrated actors of my generation. Painful card reading, pathetic facial expressions trying to make up for it, and no apologies for insulting his audience when it's over.

(Non)Props to Conan (though I typically think of him as a better writer than performer) for cranking out the quantum stuff without looking away or even the slightest pause. -edit: ugh. Camera guys gave him the cut away to find the card when he needs it.

Bigger props to the editors for the Kathy Lee Federline mashup. nice.
