That was SCARY!! I wonder how many people go over the side in that race....

...and how many of those bystanders are taken with them.

(Are they nuts for standing so close? Did the lack of oxygen get to them?)

I've heard about this race; I climbed Pikes Peak in the little cog railway train. Cool trip. V. cool vid. On the way down there are mandatory stops where they check the temperature of your brakes! Welcome nosro

I've driven this race dozens of times, it's unbelievably challenging, especially in the more powerful turbocharged wing cars. Tonnes of fun. On my Playstation.

i've never participated in the race, but i've driven up and down that mountain several times. it's kinda freaky at points, if you drop off the track, it's a nice downhill tumble... other than that it's just a very winding road. the altitude affects the cars more than it affects the people, then again, i've lived here for over a decade, so i've acclimated. lol.
