pffft please, a coyote, fox or even a dog could never be strong enough to take down chickens or kittens. i dont believe that one bit.

It's great when they say that the dead chickens didnt have much blood left in them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what happens when you bleed to death? And doesnt blood tend to coagulate in a corpse. Jeez people are silly.

You've got to love how people will hold onto their paradigms like a castaway clinging to a piece of flotsam. After it's determined to be a coyote, just how many questions did she throw at the guy, trying to disprove him? 6? 8?

I don't get it...maybe the myth of the chupacabra was derived from people's exaggerated perception of this malformed coyote.

People saw this...had no way of explaining...applied a name and myth to it and the rest is folklore. In my opinion it IS a chupacabra.

Good point Rottenseed. Also doesn't rule out the existence of a goat sucker! The thing about these mythical cryptids, you can't ever prove they aren't out there. And in the middle of the night, a noise in the reaches beyond the campfire's light, could beeee ...CHUPACABRAAAA!

And on a side note, I was once behind a landscaping truck towing a woodchipper, and on the gaping, sappy maw of the machine one of the workers had painted "chippacabra". It was lolly.
