its kind of about making fun of christians who show off their christianity (pride), although the ethics books part lost me a little (unless he's just carrying them around all the time to show off).

In my experience, people like the guy on the left are the sort of folks who try and get the 10 commandments posted in schools, despite not actually knowing all those commandments.

Video never loads for me, but I watched part 2-4 on the tube.. Strikes me as being a ... irrelevant rather than "so true!!" for me. Now nothing is worse than religious extremism etc. but somehow being this "moderate, modern christian" seems to me like the biggest self-contradiction of them all. I mean these people are the ones that pick and choose in the worst way from the bible.. basically they are rejecting every other word of it, just like me.. but then what the hell is the point?? why even read the damn thing, when it says you should kill homosexuals, non-believers etc in no uncertain terms(see the penn & Teller clip) basically lots of things that directly contradicts everything we as modern people stand for. Does it all boil down to "Jesus says: be nice, and everything is cool" then write that down on a post-it and burn that fucking book once and for all.
