I was watching some Spanish show the other day and I saw them.
This is dedicated to blankfist and DFT because they are the two sifters who always post bizarre videos like this, lol
Chongalicious is a 2007 homemade music video performed by Laura DiLorenzo and Mimi Davila (both born in 1990), who were drama students at Dr. Michael M. Krop High School in Aventura, Florida. The song is a parody of Fergie's 2006 hit song "Fergalicious". It focuses on the term "chonga," a slang term describing a stereotypical way of dressing and behaving among Hispanic girls in America, the term first being coined in Miami-Dade County. The video was filmed on a digital photo camera and the music and vocals were later recorded with a simple microphone on a computer.
It quickly gained notice when it first appeared on YouTube, where it has had more than 2.5 million views.Its popularity led local radio stations to play the song often. Power 96 said that it was one of their most requested songs after being discovered on YouTube. The singers said that they "didn't expect it to be this big." Laura and Mimi became overnight celebrities, being profiled in The Miami Herald and appearing on local NBC, CBS and Telemundo television programs.
