This is important. This was recorded in 1995. Tip of the hat to Choggie.

Election 2008
Noams' allowed to live, just like Mulder's character had to....
(1995 recorded)
I don't respect chomsky's solutions, and I really dont want to conjure up class warfare. There enough class warfare whether we know it or not.
For the record, my avatar is ironic and has several meanings, none of which promote violence. You may message me if you'd like to hear more about it, but in short, my ideal class war happens at the ballot box (baring some kind of nightmarish coup).
The class war Chomsky speaks of is a silent, one-sided war. Our side (the people) can do little to retaliate, as most of us don't even see the war. You may not see it yourself, but if you look closely enough, you'll find evidence of it in the decay of our social infrastructure as corporate profits soar. Chomsky explains this in quite some detail in the post, so I won't belabor it.
Class war is a provocative word, and ironically no more so than to those who actually wage it. They know that the instant we collectively understand this, we will have already won.
This is an alarm call.
Do you want to oppress the lower class with more statistics on how they are screwed every second of their lives? I think you will find yourself at the tail end of the line. The lower class is oppressed by everyone and every corporation, and it's the American way (sad) to find a better way of doing this.
Peace.
They have the shit down kiddies, the empire never died, and they have had plenty of practice....
Here and Now is the time to cherish-the future of the world system, while we can't get too detailed, is fixed-predictable, and bound by natural laws-
The class war I speak of is people vs. the corporate machine. The poor get the worst of it, but all of us are in the crosshairs.
It also seems strange to me that you would describe knowledge as oppression. I'm not sure where you are coming from on this, or in general.
