I don't think this has much to do with 'ethnicity;' more a firm critique of the governing system in China. We're all victims & profiteers of circumstance. Love the Onion, as usual!

The Onion rocks !

In Sweden, we had a TV program that made a ficticious chinese news broadcast each week with comments on swedish political affairs. The ruling party was always bathed in superlatives while the opposing party had 'deplorable' and 'mistaken' views. Haha, it was great, and the last sentence of every fake news cast would always be "You will watch again next week".
