Awesome, but something is wrong. I´ve nuked eight cellphones since I watched it and couldn´t get the same effect. Maybe it needs some sort of curse? Either way I like the fumes. Fuuuuuuuuumes....
May I now relate a fine piece of 'metal in the microwave' story?
My friends and I were at our university cafe (this is years ago folks), and a guy came up with apparently their leftovers wrapped in aluminium foil... plonks it in the microwave and fires it up... there are some sparks... he pops the door open, we say "It's the aluminium!" He looks at us, looks at the wrapping, and then closes up the one hole in the metal, smiles at us with a 'thankyou' look (he couldn't speak english well) before putting it back in the microwave.
Well, we had to actually get up and stop it from going pear shaped right there...
Who gets into uni and doesn't know just the basic 'don't put metal in a microwave'? (Actually, you can put metal in a microwave, it's all about how much absorbent material and how much reflective material you do... as long as there's enough material to absorb the waves, and the metal is arranged such that whatever it reflects goes into the absorbent material, you're actually ok)
By the way, I did my G4 group academic project on microwaves. Happy times and epic lulz ensued - many times. Let's just say - blowing sh*t up and experimenting with fire/plasma inside it ruled. Unfortunately, the panel didn't find it that funny though, and failed us, completely trashing the loving memory into which our 5 recently deceased boxes had just passed.

Am I the only one that's curious as to how they brought the darling little creature to life?
Watch it again! They put a cell phone in the microwave.
Mine microwaved into a miniature unicorn that poops skittles... it was an Ericsson.
I hear Nokia are forged with the blood of adulterers in the bowels of hell... so maybe he had a Nokia.
