Call of Duty 4 Comparison Between Playstation 3 and XBox 360

You'll probably want to skip watching the video here and head straight to the HD version of it at GameTrailers.

This is a comparison of a few scenes in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare between the PS3 and the XBox 360. From watching a few in-game videos on YouTube, the game looks absolutely fascinating, like playing a movie. However, I have to admit I'm not sure that I can tell from this video which console provides a better graphical experience.

Here's a great video review by the game by editor-in-chief of the IGN Xbox team, Hilary Goldstein (who, from the sound of her voice I would have bet was a dude).

It's a wash isn't it? I assume the 360 version will be better online but that's about it. The animation looks top-notch in this one.
Mind you after Halo 3 I'm loath to order another corridor FPS as I'm itching to replay Bioshock AND I have The Orange Box on the way.

This is pretty worthless at the low resolutions available on YouTube, since a reliable comparison really cannot be made. Also, no mention is made of what display modes each system is is using, i.e 720p, 1080p, etc.

It's a valid point, CaBhaal. I've added a link to the original enormous HD version at GameTrailers.

Whenever/if I achieve my bronze diamond, I'll update with that version here.

Also, after watching the HiDef version, I now feel the PS3 version is just slightly better.
