These are two life sized 3d stroboscopic zoetropes (sisyphish 2002 and deeper 2004) that artist, peter hudson brought to burning man in 2002 and 2004. One of the best pieces at BM each of those years.

Blue Man Group in Luxor, Vegas had cool spinning and flashing zeotropes when I saw it in 2001.
