^ I SO don't see that.

Wall-E is a brilliant film in so many ways. It has so many wonderful moments, and so much non verbal story telling. It is a great film.

I'm sure they didn't for a moment go 'gee, Wall-E wasn't that great, let's make a funny short'.

So, Wall-E JUST came out here in Australia on DVD (yeah, AFTER Christmas, that was smart), and so I've just watched this short... it's pure brilliance.

Pixar are the true kings of the heap in animated storytelling at present. Forget CG vs hand drawn, it doesn't matter, they just tell good, funny stories REALLY well.
