I was 21 and had just returned home to Ontario after a year living in L.A. with my stripper gf when this song was big. We had gone down there so that she could get into the film industry. She had a job on a sitcom when we got to L.A. but after nine months she was working in a pet store and I was a webmaster for one of the first big internet porn companies. I spent the last 3 months there alone, progressively abusing more substances and developing the habit of drinking alone, trying to figure out what creative thing I could do for money. So anyway, as silly as this song is, it is more poingant for me than most.

the clip costed five bucks, or maybe it was 2000$, either way it was god damn cheap... look at the carpets they got for free, the packing paper and some other stuff they could afford for the few bucks ;D (how could i have forgotten the orange suits ;D)
