Tired of being discriminated against for being a male under 25, this guy has some fun with his car insurance agent.

I had a Corrado when I was 23 and paid about $315 a month for insurance. What a scam. I also drove like a 23 year old asshole back then. Now I'm pushing 40 and drive a station wagon with kids in it.

deathcow gets a comment point for having a Corrado. Hopefully it was an SLC and not a G60.

How about a little working class empathy.

If you want to follow the CEO home after work and beat him with a tire iron, so be it. Otherwise, don't abuse the help.

Dude... really? They signed up for the job - take what comes with it or find another job.

"Dude... really?"

Yes... really!. If you want to stop redlining and other prejudicial insurance practices, a customer service rep is the person least likely to help you. Customer service reps are basically hired punching bags, whose main function is depleting your outrage and insulating upper management from your complaints.

Man. I have never had anything but pleasant experiences after talking to my insurance company. I have a huge deductible. Last accident, they paid off in less than a week, my choice on the repair spot The other guy was at fault, but it was too little money for them to pursue it, but once they found out I wanted my deductible back from the other guy, they hired a PI to collect info and told me she would show up in Small Claims Court to support me when I went. They sent that info to the other company, and they paid up. Another accident, when the guy who does the estimates showed up (at my pleasure, and on my timing) to estimate repair cost (he's an independent agent who works for many companies), he told me he love doing work for my guys because of how professional they are.

I've had 3 accidents in 30 years, and every single time has been a pleasure. If anyone wanted to use my charming service reps as punching bags, I would feel a need to make their lives more miserable.

My guys probably aren't cheapest, but I wouldn't know, because they make me happy and I don't shop around.

Too funny. I love how the insurance industry has become nothing short of legalized extortion. Let see, you give me $20 to hold onto, just in case you get injured/into an accident. Then, when you do, I'm only going to give you $10 back because it cost me $10 to watch your $20....and that's even if I accept your claim and don't try to deny it on some technicality. REPEATEDLY. But the beauty is, now that I've duped so many people, I'm going to stick money in this elected official's pocket so he can make insurance mandatory for everyone!

Most people would at least have the courtesy to buy me dinner before punching me in the browneye.
