See, the problem with most jokes white people make about blacks isn't that they're racist, it's that they're completely ignorant and based on entirely false premises. While trying to refute the point, Maher proves it here. A polygamy joke would work. A dancing joke would work. Cannibalism? It's just ignorant.

I'm pretty sure that was his point. Seemed to me like he was being satirical by using racist stereotypes in his jokes.
