what people don't realize is that the knife is the official Canadian drivers license. For bigger vehicles you need a sword or machete to drive them.

My dad said here's your pocket knife son, Keep it with you always, You never know when you'll need a knife.
To this day I still carry that knife... (well, I lost it once and it cost me $100 to replace it with the same one). It makes my wife nervous but it sure comes in handy.

Be sure to make nice long strokes infront of people, don't stroke too fast though, or some of the oil may come off and splash it in the face.
It's not always a problem, just ask them if they don't mind taking a little bit in the face beforehand. Always be a gentleman about it.
