In light of the mishap here at the sift, maybe all you admins (I'm an admin myself) should do a back-up and test that back-up recovery process, just in case. Um.. Somebody tell me why this is in the top sifts... It's ridiculously long, boring, and not all that interesting. The least they could do is talk faster so I don't keep falling asleep. Some editing would have been nice too.

It seems like a good reminder to keep your own computer backed up. There are backup services that can backup any changes to specified folders every day.

I have a subscription with Webroot Antivirus, and 1 gig backup is included for free, which is enough for my document folders.
