The food crashs are from a Renault commercial to celebrate their top crash safety rating.

They "crashed" a baguette too - that did not explode of course

They helped a little with the Sushi and Bratwurst by inserting little fireworks though.

so what's up with testing the cars behind a 747? Is that really a problem in some areas where you might be following a jet to work? Also, who knew the weinerdog mobile and a giant sushi roll was crash tested.

The cars and the 747 were (I think) from a UK TV show (Top Gear maybe? Not sure on the name.) where they do fun things with vehicles.
