You should really consider buying this film on DVD though, the visuals and colors scream for high-res and it's worth every penny. You can watch it over and over.

I've tried a few times to get a Baraka clip through, and none of them have been successful. It is definitely one of my favorite films. I hope it gets through!

What a great film this is. I had the opportunity to see a 35mm print of this in a movie theatre a couple of years back, and it was a really amazing experience. This is definitely something to put in the Netflix queue if you haven't seen it. *promote

I saw a 35mm print of this back in the late 90s, too, Sarzy. It's worth watching, but I'd recommend not watching it online and wait to see it either in a reshowing at a theater or buy the DVD. Oh, and as far as the chicks go, they look like they're having fun! Weeeee!

I completely agree about a small screen not doing it justice, blankfist. When I saw it theatrically I had already watched it on a TV and it was almost like a different movie. Much more powerful on the big screen. Watching it on a tiny YouTube-sized screen is pretty much pointless.
