I don't think that baby bird could fly yet so shouldn't it be staying in its nest until then?

Internet videos have definitely destroyed my ability to enjoy a sweet video like this.

I kept expecting as the mommy and daddy birds approached for them to actually be predators the baby was hiding from in the PVC pipe and that they'd tear apart the bird in front of the guy who was just trying to save it.

^ I know, I'm so disappointed. Just let the baby birdy get torn asunder, pwetty pweeze?

I blame the secret desire for bird death on that annoying bird Tweety, and the annoying Road Runner, and those infuriating ducks Daffy and Donald... Road Runner cable...

Can this bird just DIE please?!

Oh and I definitely do not equate the killing and stuffing of birds with the hatred of women, driven into my dark and empty soul by my antagonizing mother. No, no, no. Nope.
