And done the correct emphasis/inflection, then it would have sounded fine.

its not editing in the sense that it was chopped up and reorganized. I think it was just cut short. Thats why the video ends so abruptly at the last word. It could have been something like:
"I'm Jonathan Charles. Kept hidden for almost two decades, (persons name) was yadda yadda yadda." and so on.
Not really a blooper, just some editing shinaniganry, but funny none the less.
What makes it funny is that it seems there isn't any editing. Just hilariously bad phrasing and timing on his part.
