Awesome pool table made of glass

Stumble ThisThis has to be one of the coolest pool tables I have ever seen. It's made from glass and metal but apparently it rolls like a cloth surface.

I agree with the previous comments about how this material seems to slow down the balls a little too quickly.
I think it's more of a "looking at" kind pool table. It is sort of nice looking though. Not my style though. I'd be more into an art deco pool table like this one: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/6161873.

And could someone explain to me what about the manufacturing process could possibly raise the cost to $40,000?
I also find the tables support beams extremely distracting.
I appreciate the concept and that some people may love this table, but I'll pass. Perhaps I'm not a fan of some "modern" designs but I'd still pass if this thing was $4000.

I was thinking the smudges, kinda like trying to get an iPhone screen clean.
It's that expensive for the same reason this designer cat perch is $200. Because there are people dumb enough to pay that much for it.
