the cities better not be just a clump of shitty mini-games again.
BUT, I really like that your character has an accent this time! That's a BIG boost on my immersion-o-meter.
The only thing bad about the first was that you always did the same steps, in the same quantity each mission, in order to get to each target.
the 'only bad thing' was the whole game though. you just repeated the same steps over and over at every city. having to do those stupid races/ climb all the towers (only a few of which were unique) etc ruined the idea that you were running around in a believable city. it ended up just being an 'icon' hunt for various tasks you've already completed five times before.
They definitely got rid of the flags too.
Mostly I don't mind the preparation phase, I just wanted it to be more varied, and wanted the optional pre-assassination missions to provide more substantial assistance in the real assassination.

Exactly how I feel. They did an excellent job with accents before, and then as soon as Altïr opened his mouth, BAM! You get sucked out of the game.
