No, it doesn't. However, this all began with them dropping buoys beneath the ice to discover the source of warming waters and melting arctic ice. Now they've uncovered volcanic activity on the sea floor. Research is still continuing, but what do you think would happen to the ice if there were volcanic eruptions beneath it? written by Lurch
