Do you belive this guy? I do. Our Apple iPod touch stopped working a couple weeks ago. Apple says liquid damage - NO warranty coverage, well - WE would know if we submerged our iPod wouldn't we? our $400 iPod Touch lasted about 6 weeks. I guess thats what you get for your Apple bucks. This is my small protest against the man.

Just spent $850 to repair my MacBook because of an actual liquid spill - barely anything at that, but it managed to fry the whole thing. I was pissed because the standard one-year warranty expired 3 days beforehand, but now I feel a lot better that I didn't spend the extra $275 for the extended warranty! Rat bastards...

Hurts me to watch. I hope he took the useful guts out first. I would demand photo proof from Apple that there was liquid damage.

Ha! This is what I always said sucks about Apple. When you purchase a Macbook, iphone, ilife you are owned by them because its proprietary anything goes wrong with it and you have ONLY one place to go to.

With PCs at least you have the ability to repair the system yourself, say your CPU fires, you can change that component only and keep the rest of the system.
