2/20/2008 - WASHINGTON (AFPN) -- The Air Force has a new advertising campaign to recruit the next generation of Airmen as well as better inform people about the Air Force mission:

"Above All."

"The new slogan is admittedly a bold one," said Col. Michael Caldwell, deputy director of Air Force public affairs, "but so are Airmen." This campaign accurately portrays Airmen and how they're executing the Air Force mission to ensure the security and safety of America now and in the future.

I like this recruitment ad, the USAF is badass.

...if we can only keep politicians and compliant military officials from unconstitutionally selling weapons abroad.

The Air Force is an outdated and unnecessary branch of the armed forces. Both the Marine Corps and the Navy have their own air wings, and the USMC, Army and Navy all have choppers.

The only thing the Air force has that the others don't is the whole cyber thing. And I could be wrong on that one.

I say dismantle it and transfer needed functions to the other branches.
