Kung Fu is an excelent tv series, staring David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine. You may know David Carradine as Bill. He also starred in a few episodes of Alias.

This series was great, for the sense of peace, and interest in philosophy that it explored. It was not an action packed excuse for cinematic violence, but it also did not shirk from the need to defend. In most episodes, the martial arts of Kung Fu were used once, or twice, in a pacifistic and defensive manner. Conflict was avoided as often as possible.

They're doing Tai Chi in this scene.

I really like this show, but was disappointed to learn they didn't cast Bruce Lee because they felt America wasn't ready for a real Asian protagonist.

They gave Carradine fake epicanthal folds.

^ I didnt know that. It's a shame they felt they had to fake it. I did like DC's performance, but i do wonder now what Bruce would have brought to the show.
