Absolute Proof: Obama's Birth Certificate is Real.

The Young Turks show factcheck.org's inspection of Obama's birth certificate. I can't believe some people (Orly Taitz etc.) are still trying to say Obama isn't an American.

fantastic, now let's please get on with more productive matters, like why bagram has become obama's hidden guantanamo

factcheck.org is excellent and non-partisan

in fact, they're so unbiased that tyt will likely...might...never... cover this polemical angle:

The article in question:

I'm not real sure just what Bush's uranium claims have to do with this piece, but let's just go ahead and toss it out there anyway. TYT have never claimed to be non-partisan that I've heard (admittedly, I don't listen to them unless a clip makes it on here), so I don't see how what they would or would not cover has anything to do with factcheck or the Repugs' (as separate from Republicans) refusal to face proven facts.

Enlighten us...

A 'Certification of Live Birth', which is the only paper released, is a shorthand version of a real, full birth certificate.

The full Birth Certificate--not Certification--would have the hospital and doctor that performed the delivery plus witnesses, etc. THAT'S the paper that's locked up, and BHO has already spent close to a million dollars to keep it that way.

Obama's Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, claim he was born in Kenya. His grandmother claimed she was in the delivery room in Kenya during his birth.

If that's true, BHO is not a natural-born citizen and therefore ineligible for the Office.

As the loyal opposition, all I can add is with the way BHO is running things, his schemes would be doomed even if he was born in the Oval Office.

^That is such a load of bull QM. "spent nearly a million dollars ". ... Repeating something you heard from Rush the other day does not make it true.

Lol, you didn't even read the article QM.
"The document is a "certification of birth," also known as a short-form birth certificate. The long form is drawn up by the hospital and includes additional information such as birth weight and parents' hometowns. The short form is printed by the state and draws from a database with fewer details. The Hawaii Department of Health's birth record request form does not give the option to request a photocopy of your long-form birth certificate, but their short form has enough information to be acceptable to the State Department."

Further, "a researcher looking to dig up dirt on Obama instead found a birth announcement that had been published in the Honolulu Advertiser on Sunday, Aug. 13, 1961". The Star Bulletin, Hawaii's other major newspaper, ran a birth announcement the same day.

Either someone went back in time to plant that or Obama is American. I'll side with reality thank you very much.

Where was the outrage over McCain? He was born in Panama.

Liberals' mastery of scientificism is well known. For all we know, they DID use a time machine to plant a fraudulent birth announcement in the newpaper.

G.F.D., hate is a powerful motivator. We'll continue to hear about this shit for the next 8 years. If not, it will be some other conspiracy.

The birth certificate denials even in the face of overwhelming proof come down to two words- submlimated racism. These folks have it- though, I'm sure they are denying that as well.

I'm convinced the people who are still convinced Obama isn't a natural citizen are equivalent to Flat Earthers. I'm all for skepticism, its an integral part of scientific and philosophical advancement and a force of reason, law and fairness. However some people will fly the banner of skepticism as a vehicle to further their own agenda. Be that agenda maintaining their own ignorance and/or building their own personal power.

There's always the problem of at what point does skepticism no longer become reasonable, I think a good solid clue is when the skeptic's counters to produced evidence is the intellectual equivalent of nuh-uh.

When the “Earth is Flat and Only 6000 Years Old” crowd blathers on, what they demonstrate is how badly they don’t understand basic science. The Birfers however show they have a real hard time with telling the truth. Every bit of their “evidence” has shown to be a lie. The birth certificate provided is not a forgery as they maintain, no African relatives made a claim that Obama was born in Kenya, his college has not released documents showing he got a scholarship for foreigners, there never was a travel ban for Americans going to Pakistan at the time Obama visited that country. Obama has not spent million of dollars defending his case. The reason why every time they go to court their cases are tossed out is the same reason why the Creationists cant get published in a legit scientific journal. They have no proof.

BTW - Anyone that has ever placed an obituary, birth or wedding announcement in a paper knows that you simply cant call up the local paper and give them the announcement. The papers have to verify it with the vital statistic people.
The Birfers are nothing more than sore losers. They see that the rest of America is rejecting them, their leaders and their values, and its driving them crazy. So crazy in fact that they will believe any lie that is told to them, as long as it satisfies their self induced victim mentality.
