ANP - 300 Billion Dollars - Weapons Systems Spending

Stumble ThisRepublicans, also called Conservatives spend money on the War Machine. The Democrats, also called Liberals, spend money on the people. Or so they say. Because both parties are party to the Spending Machine, and both parties spend more money than is really real.
For arguments sake; Liberals, Conservatives, Republicans, and Democrats, are not interchangeable terms. Each term means something entirely different. The general consensus is that each term can be used to describe the other. This argument is utterly ridiculous.

At the core of this problem is spending, and not producing. The technologies are changing, systems are collapsing, and our Politicians spend more money. This will not solve the problem.
Bush's 700 billion dollar bailout, and Obama's possible 2 Trillion dollar plan to rescue the economy. Not to mention his $838 billion dollar stimulus package. Add it all up and we arrive at what? A gigantic sum of money, but even that word is inadequate in physically describing that amount.
This is only one aspect of a failing system, and I am sure the bright minds on this medium will address them far better than I have.

(And giving money to these war-profiteering corporations instead of paying for education, health and transit is driving the US economy into the ground.)
