A back draft is what is caused when there is an opening that allows a rush of Oxygen into a fire chocked vacuum, causing the fire to withdraw for a moment and then rush back towards the opening.

I know that a fire cannot exist in vacuum but I was looking for a good "way" to put the point.

Like a Tsunami when the water gets pulled away from shore, and then rushes back.
