You nailed my soft spot. I read the book long before the movie was made. One of the most perfect paragraphs in American literature, if not the top. I'm misty eyed and swallowing hard, it gets me every time.

You're just a sucker for anything that involves fishing, snoozey. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Especially your avatar. I have to ask: Do you know that attractive young lady in your avatar? I'm going to keep it clean and respectful for now, because if she's your wife, sister, daughter, or other female relative I'll be really embarrassed. If not, then I'll proceed to get nasty and obscene.

Did you say fishing? When are we going? I have my stuff packed. OK, I admit, I'm an addict and in need of intervention and rehabilitation. However, the main point of "A River Runs Through It" was not really about fishing. It was about the flaws that bring us to ruin, and our inability to sometimes help those closest to us. (Although, aside from that last scene, my favorite part of the movie is Brad Pitt trying to land that monster in the rapids)

As for the avatar girl, never met her, don't know who she is, but I can't resist a beautiful woman holding a fish. Did I mention I'm in need of intervention and rehabilitation?
