A long time ago I had an aunt that was joggin along side the road, when four guys (probably drunk) drove up beside her and struck her down with a baseball bat. Needless to say, she went to the hospital. The part where the story gets good is that my aunt actually recognized the four boys. Her husband is also an ex-marine. We never did find out exactly what he did to them, all we know is there were a couple of emergency room visits.
