From YT: Senator Barack Obama tells Steve Kroft in a 60 Minutes exclusive (to be aired Sunday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. ET/PT) why he chose his running mate, Joe Biden, and he comments on Senator McCain's Vice Presidential pick, Sarah Palin.

#1 Bullshit jingoisms

#2 More silly, meaningless bullshit, (uses about 5 cliches)

#3. more meaningless turns of phrase to make folks feel good, (plus he uses complete sentences, not like the last guy-WHO WAS AND IS, EVIL INCARNATE) aaaaaand another cliche....

4. Blah balhbalah abaalahlaa a ablahal;a a ablalha

"It's all about where I want to take the country..." What the fuck do you mean motherfucker??!!!"

My point is, Barack isn't being jingoistic in this clip. If anything, he's breaking down his reasons for selecting Biden and commenting on his opponent's Veep pick pretty specifically. Certainly, he's nothing like McCain, who seems to have the jingoistic-tunes on repeat, blindly guiding his blind followers blindly into the past.

Choggie I agree that some of his reasons were vague. But you'd have to be stupid to think that Obama would just come out there and tell everyone how terrible she is as a pick ...etc. Cause then the stupid American voters would react to that. I admire someone like Obama who can still answer the question without pissing people off. Even if he doesn't say it, you can tell what he's really thinking and thats all a politician has to convey.
