1967 stop motion - Stop, Look and Listen

"Stop, Look, and Listen is a wonderfully imaginative stop-action live movie about aggressive driving that is so valid in today's modern age of road rage! It is funny and thoughtful. It keeps your attention although it only features two main characters. We watch as the meek suburban businessman starts out on his daily commute. He is quickly targeted by a cigar-chomping hot rodder in his "sports car." Try as he might to beat this "tortoise," in the end, the "hare" does himself in through his foolish aggression. And, just to show that there is no gender distinction in aggressive driving, in the end our hero finds himself facing the female version of his nemesis, complete with chomping cigar and flashy sunglasses." // YouTube description

Did you notice when they're thanking the people who helped make the movie (at the beginning) they say 'without whose cooperation this motion picture was made.'

A mistake? Made me laugh

It's a spoof!

This is by Len Janson and the late Chuck Menville, who also did Vicious Cycles. The films use the pixilation technique, which is the frame-by-frame manipulation of live-action subjects.

Great Sift.
