In my opinion, if you're gonna have a holiday season based on some kind of belief, just f#@%ing call it what it is. Calling it another name does not change the fact that it is still the same thing. People who are pissed off that Christmas is being celebrated will still be pissed off if it's called by some pseudonym.
The only sensibilities you're gonna offend are of those who know what you are talking about anyway.
