Regardless of whether or not she was being sarcastic, she was speaking in the future tense, clearly. She said "God bless us. We deserve..." not we deserved.

...and for the record I don't think there is anything wrong with saying God bless us for being successful.

And what was the point of her saying that?
I don't know why she even agreed to do an interview with Bill-O in the first place.
And Wolfson is definitely full of shit. She said "bless" plain as day. I agree that it doesn't matter much, but seriously, come up with something a little less...um...blatantly wrong.
