London in 1927 - Early Colour Silent Film

What is this strange and beautiful place? The buildings are so lovely, the clothes are brilliant, the men wear hats (and probably take them off indoors), the automobiles have so much character, the policemen look friendly and helpful, the workmen whistle and tip their caps to you, and it looks like one pence could buy you a nice snack lunch.

Oh nostalgia, you've deceived me yet again.
