Not even upvoting this. "horrific chemo and radiation" is a huge industry. A cure now would guarantee our financial collapse here in America. And for what? To reverse the second largest population controller we've got? F that.
Despite this funny glitch, they're putting their money into infrastructure and people while we piss it away on war and economic stop gaps. Next 10 years will tell a lot.
Just stupid. Is a simple matter of physics - a car has more grip, end of story. The only thing keeping you from going faster around a turn is lack of grip. It's 4 wide tires vs 2 slim tires that only have an edge touching, never mind wings and under-carriage aero. If this guy can't get a Ferrari to corner faster than a bike, he needs more skill is all. This video should be called, "Ferrari driving skill vs Ducati skill"
I read In Cold Blood a long while ago. You read it for awhile and think like it's just someone reporting the facts, but for some unapparent reason you don't stop reading. It takes a bit, but you soon realize that Capote is a genius. It all gets your attention, every simple aspect. It's unreal how the smallest asides gain your full attention.
I remember the feeling I got when I went to my very first foreign country, (Portugal, Azores Islands actually), the strangeness, the confirmed realization that there was more than what I knew, (we are very sheltered here in America). I thought that initial amazing rush was once in a lifetime until it recently hit again with a trip to Shanghai - talk about a different planet on the SAME planet no less! Blew me away. This film gives me a reminder of that emotion, it's such an unreal world that's undeniably there and real. Thanks for the sift truly.
Don't fall for this. Tori does one thing: she puts high end stuff, (devil, god, jesus, murder, love, etc), into mundane situations, (kitchen is a fave, eating a hot dog, riding a ten speed, on a downtown bus, whatever). I swear 90% of her songs are all variations of this one cheap writing trick. I find it nauseating.
I looked this incident up. Apparently officer Stoddard noticed a paper that wasn't previously screened, so he took it and had the other deputy copy it. Screening the paperwork is supposed to used to make sure there isn't any weapons or contraband in between the sheets, but these scumbags stretch that.
Looks like another action packed film. I mean ACTION PACKED, like all action all the time, constant action with out a single breath. So much action you'll be bombarded with even more action and epic music blaring steadily until you'll suddenly realize that you're bored to tears of action and secretly begging the director to just take a freakin break already.
Get ready for the christmas everyday of the year and ice cream for breakfast lunch and dinner ACTION!!
NetRunner:"Therefore, government will always be corrupted by companies so long as it has the power to distort the market, at the cost of freedom.
Therefore, government must be destroyed, and everything will be free and happy.
You lost it at this point. What about: Therefore, government shouldn't be involved in business and should only make laws that directly affect the safety and civil rights of the people? I mean, the government isn't involved in religion unless a religion trespasses on civil rights etc, why not business?
The answer is that government is making money hand over fist, (using laws that business suggested they make), and they're so corrupt that yes, they probably need to have their heads lopped off.
Guys guys, the reason everything is circling the drain in the economy is because THE GOVERNMENT IS IN ON IT. The corporations aren't left to do battle on their own, they've enlisted the governments help and are GETTING THEIR SCAMS LEGALIZED. If the market was truly free, there would be so much competition that there would be only some top end companies and almost no mega-corporations - except for oil maybe.
Please think about what a free market really means before you spout off.
Yes, maybe seat belts wouldn't have been mandatory, but if enough studies and common sense show they save lives, there would be smaller seat belt after market companies making a living, then the manufacturers would jump on the wagon etc. It would eventually balance.
Yes their may be some huge scams, but the company caught would get busted, (It's still illegal to steal), and their company would go down the tubes fast once their competitors got wind and sprayed the media with the news. There would be so much competition that a company would be foolish to even try. The way it is now, the companies can just have the government change the legal definition of what's a scam, makes a shitload, then buy up other companies to end competition, then have the government bail them out when the scam hits the back end.
To me Steve Martin was the guy that did jokes that you would think anybody could do.. but when you actually got down to it, nobody could. He did the jokes in this bizarre limbo between everyday guy and impossible. Thanks for the find nomino.
I personally snap. Don't know why really, but i do. I saw a man slap his daughter in a mall once and yelled at him so loud half the mall froze and looked at me.
