Arnold's Conan slideshow

Yes, I own the Collectors Edition of the film (this version) and that was the commentary for it. Completely unscripted and unprepared, it was quite amusing! Arnold and the film's director John Milius were on there and just reminisced about the scenes as they came up, though there were a few cool facts brought up.

Much of it was Milius saying how hot he was for Sandahl Bergman.

I wonder what the film is trying to get at... Hopefully just poking fun at that old fear of women rather than re-igniting it! You know how superstitious audiences are these days

This looks sped up slightly to me, watch the people walking at the bottom of the film. I doubt it's as hectic in reality as it looks here, but still pretty amazing stuff. I bet there are accidents from time to time.

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series trailer

The art style is based on Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars cartoon series from 2003. He had headed series like Samurai Jack and Powerpuff Girls, which also used this style of drawing.

If you can get a chance to go back and watch the episodes, do so. They were short, but really entertaining - using lots of big force powers, which made Windu look much more powerful than he did in the movies. I would imagine we will see the same here.

Ohhhh come on guys... that wasn't all bad. I know, of course, he had no hand in writing it, but on some level you've gotta appreciate taking the mickey outta yourself.

We already know this guy's a complete tyrant - I get it. It's obvious - but you can't take things too seriously all the time, or you'll just end up crying yourself to sleep.

The Missing Secrets Of Nikola Tesla (Complete)

I have a feeling that some of this was not really delved too deeply into, just latching on to any old myth about him. I note that they start with his more plausible inventions and then get progressively more zany... I mean c'mon, some mysterious Navy SEAL ranting on about "oh yeah, we have awesome particle weapons nowadays", and some reverberating device that nearly brings down a building? We all know what became of the Star Wars program.

Still, he was obviously a remarkable person and humanitarian. I'd heard about AC current being attributed to him before, so I would like to think that much of this is factual.

Science has really got to take on the whole popular marketting approach that the ID movement has taken advantage of. The medical industry seems to be able to do it with their TV and radio spots, but I suppose there's a lot of money behind it to drive the message. Therein lies the dilemma...
