Okay, I'm confused about what I did wrong here. I posted that Family Guy Law & Order vid. Not the world's most wonderful video, but I thought it was funny. It got deleted. I'm not complaining or anything but I thought I looked pretty carefully to make sure it wasn't a dupe and I was just wondering if there was any way to find out why it was deleted.

I checked the FAQ and read the posting guidelines and didn't see anything relevant . . . sorry if this kind of question is a no-no.

Hi bellman. After doing some digging to find the video you are asking about, I can tell you with certainty that you simply did not complete the video submission process. You got to the last page but did not actually submit it.

You're right. If it is, in fact, not a dupe, there is no reason for it to have been discarded and it wasn't.

Don't worry about asking such questions. Freedom of sift speech and all.

Many thanks -- I saw it on the "recently deleted" page and thought there was something wrong with it. In future I'll check that last submission page more carefully! Thanks again.

That's just kind of a housekeeping thing. Videos that have been half-way submitted have a "dicard" status, so we can at least go back and find them.

Also if you would like to receive updates about the video there is a check box that you can click while submitting a video.

Did we ever get a page specifically for discards or is it just the last five on the blog sidebar? I know you can search Google for discards but just wondered if y'all had come up with something better...
