If you haven't heard, we recently had a catastrophe.

If your account no longer works, please re-register with your original username. Once you've done that, find one of your comments or playlists or video/ST/blog posts to determine what number your old account was assigned.

Then post a comment here mentioning that number and an admin or a deputy can fix you right up! Once your new account has been fixed, it will be renamed with "[defunct]" prepended to it and from that point on you will be able to access the Sift with your normal username.

Warning: Do not do any activities with your temporary account before it's fixed, otherwise they (e.g., videos posted, comments submitted, etc.) will be lost.

Please do not list other member ids unless they have already re-registered with their real username. We appreciate the effort but the info is useless unless the user has re-registered.
