Superawesome @Username Feature Request
I`ll make it short and sweet: I would find it super useful, if usernames that get mentioned in a comment or post would automatically become a link to the userprofile when prefixed with an "@".
So just like it works on Twitter, @maatc would be magically turned into @maatc
Bonus: Getting a notification when someone mentions you
(or a link on the site that functions as a search for recent mentions)

If you implement this, blankfist will spam the sift with @blankfist comments, so he can make believe that he is popular.

Post by @gwiz665: I would think that someone posting their own @gwiz665 would be filtered out. I mean, only complete attention whores would skew the results by posting @gwiz665 all the time, so filtering @gwiz665 from user gwiz665 would be an easy filter to make.

Btw, I made it so it uses the charter color, if any, as well as star icon, if any. Does everyone prefer it this way or would it be better as just a simple, plain, ordinary, old link?

Make the link open in a "NEW Window" ( target="_blank" ).
Nothing I hate more than a "curiosity link" that makes me loose what I was doing in the first place
MaxWilder@Sagemind: Right-click, Open Link in New Tab. It becomes a habit. Works as long as it's not a damned Javascript link.
@lucky760: Gotta say, the stars, diamonds and crowns are a little much. Kinda cluttery and hard to read.
SlipperyPeteI like that you've done this, and hope that you can make Maat's 'bonus' recommendation work as well - some way of alerting those mentioned, either thru a profile comment or otherwise.
