Sorry, too lazy to read through the entire forum, but I often wonder how many people look at the new video queue, in order to facilitate new content being submitted to the front page.
I think but a fraction of visitors actually view that section, and unless it's been discussed already, I might suggest that the colored block be placed above the 'Top 15 Fastest Rising Videos'...

How about placing a box under the “Top 15 Fastest-Rising-New Videos” box for “newest to the queue” or “fastest rising in the queue” or maybe “a random five names of videos in the queue” – something to excite people to look there.
Right now most messages are begging for sifting to take place. Maybe teasers will help generate more traffic.
So perhaps VideoSift could adapt its own phrase “Have you sifted today?”
