Any plans to add the ability to search the blog? Would be easier to find discarded videos that leave no nasty aftertaste in the general search box.

yes, it would be nice to have a blog search. I'll add that to the list, it was also brought up that "recent comments" should have a "recent blog comment" in the select box.

it is easy. use google. (you do get some false hits from whatever the discarded or Top 15 videos names are when google does its crawl)

BLOG POSTS: (remove the " " in embed)
site:www.videosift.com inurl:blog inurl:story -< embed> SearchTerm

ACTIVE VIDEOS
site:www.videosift.com -inurl:blog -inurl:siftoff inurl:story "this video is ranked" SearchTerm

DISCARDED VIDEOS (or new queue)

the crawl is off on new videos so recently discarded or promoted might show up in wrong search. If you use "posted by username" you can find all your discarded posts, etc. It finds 206 for dotdude, so it's pretty close.
