Why does this display as such? I edited the title to reflect the first comment, and now it's horked.

It says to me: Renault F1 engine plays "My Country 'Tis of Thee"

Last I noticed, there was a problem with quotations when I edited a post once, but it was only a problem when I viewed it, not anyone else

well i mean that when you click on the vid, it brings it up lookin horrible.

i had my brother try it from another pc, and it looks the same as it does to me, and he's unable to vote for it.

Works fine for me, there could be something wrong with your router's connection if both computers are having a problem with it. Or perhaps it was a problem when you both looked at the site and some cache is still playing with it. Delete your cookies and cache and see if that helps it out.

Works fine for me too. The only thing I'd complain about is the camera guy shaking the camera. I still voted for it.

so when you click on the vid name, it displays normally? i can take a screenshot if you like.

i'm working on a corporate network, there's no resetting the switch. every other vid looks fine, and my cache is cleared. microsoft will not allow us to use firefox, so it's IE6.

meh, no worries. if nothing else i'll just self-discard it.

The name displays fine. I will say that quotes have caused me grief in the past. When I have gone back to see my published videos, the item in quotes was gone. I thought the bug had been fixed. In the meantime I have abandoned any use of quotes. Instead I use a colons, dashes or parentheses – depending on the information I include.

see, that's exactly what happened dotdude. i went to edit it, the quoted material was missing, so i readded it. at which point it screwed up the entire page listing. and now i am unable to edit the title, because it shows as, "(input type="text" id="title" name="title" value="Renault F1 engine plays "My Country 'Tis of Thee"" size="60" maxlength="120" /)" with no editable text field.

(changed the >'s to )'s since that's a coding issue as well.)

I will also avoid the doublequotes in the future. a single quote (') should work fine though. obviously something in the coding.
