At the risk of sounding like a noob (which in many ways, I suppose I am), I'd like to know about emoticons here on the Sift. Quite by accident, I did a "smiley" without a nose and viola! . . . an emoticon! I had seen them before here but never knew what you guys were up to.
Also, I've notice in some music posts that LadyBug can get little musical notes to magically appear.
I'd like to know what keystrokes are involved in placing emoticons etc., here on VS.
Thanks,
Sc

look for the music note, doubleclick so it's in the text field, copy, paste.
also, with most characters, in the lower right you will see "Keystroke: Alt+####" simply enter it as such and you will see the character.
© = Alt+0169 (Note: the numerals must be entered on the keypad, not the line of numbers along the top of the keyboard...)
How?
Anyways.. I had a master list somewhere.
Hey, thanks pho3n1x, that's even better!
