4th Sifitiversary Video Festival and More
February 17th marks the 4th Siftiversary of the beginning of VideoSift. We're going to celebrate the occasion like we usually do with a maudlin retrospective and flagons of red wine. But this year, we thought we'd try a bit more. Here's the plan:
Siftiversary Video Festival
Until February 17th we're relaxing our self-submission rule to let people submit entries in the festival.
Prizes are as follows:

Beyond these prizes, all submissions with get fortune and glory by being linked into a dedicated playlist that will be displayed site-wide for 1 month! That's around 2.6 million potential views or more for your post on VideoSift with the possibility it could go viral on other sites as well.
In addition to the video festival- we'll be opening up The Lounge all day on the 17th (servers pertmitting) - accessible by every logged in member of the Sift.
It should be a good time. And so, by the power granted to me by Siftbot - I hereby launch the Video Festival submission period!

Avokineok says...Two things:

2- If I would have any money to spare, I would donate to Videosift because I really love this website. Most importantly because of the fact that this is not just a website dedicated to sifting the good vids and saving everyone time and giving them the best vids to watch. But it's for me more about the comments underneath all these nice vids.. I have't found another video website dat has discussions in which arguments are used as well as here on the sift.. So thanks to Dag and the other webmasters of Videosift and also all members of course!
